1. Policy Statement
Hyperspan supports compliance with applicable Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment requirements and is committed to acting responsibly in relation to products that fall within the scope of relevant WEEE legislation.
Corporate Policies
Hyperspan is committed to meeting its responsibilities in relation to waste electrical and electronic equipment where applicable. We recognise the importance of responsible product marking, environmental stewardship, and compliance with relevant legal requirements in the markets in which we operate.
Hyperspan supports compliance with applicable Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment requirements and is committed to acting responsibly in relation to products that fall within the scope of relevant WEEE legislation.
This policy applies to any Hyperspan products that fall within the scope of applicable WEEE legislation in the territories in which they are placed on the market.
Not all products will necessarily fall within WEEE scope. Applicability will depend on the nature of the product, its function, and the legal requirements of the relevant territory.
Where required by applicable law, relevant products will be marked in accordance with WEEE marking requirements.
Hyperspan will seek to ensure that any required product marking is applied clearly and consistently where WEEE obligations apply.
Products subject to WEEE marking requirements should carry the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol to indicate that they should not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste.
Where applicable, marking should be consistent with recognised standards such as European Standard EN 50419 for the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol.
Where WEEE requirements apply, affected products should be collected, treated, recycled, or disposed of through appropriate authorised channels and must not be placed in general waste.
Hyperspan supports responsible end-of-life management of relevant products and encourages the use of approved recycling and recovery routes where applicable.
Hyperspan will review this policy periodically to ensure it remains aligned with the nature of our products, the markets in which we operate, and applicable legal requirements.
Any public statements regarding registration numbers, producer obligations, take-back arrangements, or jurisdiction-specific compliance should only be published where they are current, accurate, and applicable to Hyperspan’s actual legal position.
If you have any questions regarding this WEEE Compliance Policy, please contact Hyperspan.
